You don’t need boating experience. You need a few hours, a willingness to learn, and a reason to care about people coming home safe.
Roles that need you
⚓ Boat crew
Crew Newcastle 30 on rescues, searches and training exercises. Full training pathway from trainee crew through to coxswain, with nationally recognised qualifications along the way.
🎧 Radio operators
The calm voice boaters hear when they Log On, and the first link in a rescue. Staff the Stockton radio base. Full training provided, no experience needed.
🤝 Fundraising & support
Grants, sponsorships, events, admin and community stalls. The unit doesn’t float without this work. A great fit if you’d rather stay on dry land.
